Field Trips

Saturday, October 13th, 8:30AM - 11:00AM
Leader: Deedee O'Brien

Is there a child in your family that harbors an interest in birds? Or, have you thought of adding bird watching to your list of family activities? This Saturday morning will be an opportunity to give it a try in a quiet marsh area with several open ponds and likelihood of seeing raptors, herons, coots, grebes, gulls and a good variety of ducks. We'll spend most of our time behind the gate in the area by The Farmington Bay Learning Center, but time permitting will also check out the ponds and uplands in the main public area as well. Meet at the McDonald's in Centerville at 8:30 AM or the SE corner of ShopKo parking lot in Sugarhouse at 7:30AM.

Call Deedee O'Brien (801-272-8060) if you plan to attend.
