2006 04/12 Sage-Grouse Lek and Henefer (25 species)

Near Henefer and East Canyon Reservoir

Observed interesting bird behavior - about 25 Greater Sage-Grouse displaying, some mating and male v. male aggressive wing flapping; Common Loon “yodelling”; Turkey Vultures with outstretched wings sunning themselves; Great Blue Herons nesting on top of cottonwood trees; Sandhill Cranes “dancing” and one throwing a stick in to the air with its beak.
